Video doorbells · Alarm.com path
A video doorbell answers the practical question: who is at the door right now? Home Shield installs Alarm.com doorbells so live view, talk, and visitor events live with your HomeShield security experience — when your video/doorbell service supports them.
What it is
Alarm.com doorbells let you see and speak with visitors from your phone, and can unlock a compatible smart lock from the call experience when that lock is integrated. They are a different product story from preferred wired PoE/NVR cameras.
Powering options include existing doorbell wiring and, for some models, PoE or wireless variants. We match the doorbell to your chime, transformer, and network during the site review.
